Karina
and I met over the internet on an Armenian
Dating website. We exchanged pictures
and chatted many times online, before moving
on to speaking over the phone and meeting
in person.
Our
first meeting was on September 20, 2004 in
a coffee shop in Hollywood. This meeting was
very magical and we found that we have a lot
common and we are both looking for similar
qualities in each other. From this first day
we both had good feelings about the relationship
and we started dating and talking to each
other on a daily basis.
Seven
months later on April 20, 2005, I proposed
to Karina. Although, we are both madly in
love with each other, we both decided to take
our time and get to know each other better,
rather than jumping in the decision of our
life times. You can read more about our Proposal
on this page.
Our
engagement was
on October 2, 2005. In case you are not familiar
with Armenian traditions, us Armenians usually
hold big engagement parties inviting all our
relatives. The event was held in a small Armenian
hall with over 260 guests. Before hand we
took some beautiful pictures
at Glendale Brand Park. You can read more
about it here.
We
both believe that marriage is supposed to
be a once-in-a-lifetime event and once it
is done separation is not an option. We are
looking forward to starting our lives together
and starting a family.
